The Setting
Nestling at the foot of Gym Ddu mountain, the family beef and sheep farm is involved in the environmental scheme, Tir Gofal. Surrounded by nature, guests can relax or follow numerous footpaths through our fields and over our hills absorbing the abundance of birds, wildlife arid plants and enjoying the views of the Rivals, Gym Ddu, Cardigan Bay and even Ireland on a good day! Tre Ceiri with its Iron Age stone forts, over 2,000 years old, which have been described as having “some of the most spectacular views in Britain” is only a stone’s throw away.


The Area
Only one mile from the village of Llanaelhaeam, with friendly pub, shop and family bakery, Moelfre Bach is an excellent base for touring the area.
Only 7 miles from Pwllheli with its award-winning marina, blue flag beach and leisure centre, 20 minutes drive from Abersoch. 2 Miles down the road is Glasfryn Pare, tenpin bowling, go carting, quads and local farm produce shop. The next village of Trefor boasts a fishing harbour and beach.
18 hole golf courses at Abersoch, Pwllheli and Nefyn are all within 10 miles and there are literally dozens of safe sandy beaches, sea and river fishing, climbing, sailing, surf and sail boarding or horse-riding within easy reach.
Just 8 miles from Snowdonia National Park, in less than half an hour, you will find yourself at the foot of the magnificent Snowdon itself. 15 miles away is Caernarfon, with castles also in Criccieth, Harlech, Biwmares and Conwy - a must for all!
